          Step 1: Download / install the software

Step 3: Know the price of the software

Step 4: Make payment and send details

To know about different modes of payment, go to Help menu in the software Buy now click ‘Purchase Steps’. You can make payment through three methods:

·         Online Payment (You can check whether the payment is successful or not, using Help menu e-winman Login)

·         Deposit in e-Banking branch

·         Send cheque directly to the Company

In case of last two methods, send the details of payment to us using Help menu ‘Send Payment Details’. Alternatively, you can send the payment details to us using Help menu Query manager’.

Step 5: Register the software

In case of online payment, registration will be done immediately.

            Otherwise, time lag for registration is 3 days (time required to process the transaction):

Deposit in e-Banking Branch                   : from date of collection

Cheque sent to Company                      : from date of receipt of cheque

If registration key is not received within above mentioned time lag, please send a query using ‘Query manager’ tool under Help menu or click on  picture.

Step 6: View status of your transaction / Download e-Invoice

Stages of processing of your transaction/order like receipt of cheque, collection of cheque, issue of e-invoice, registration ready message, etc. will be shown in the software automatically through our web-message service. To read these messages in future, go to Help menu ‘Winman’s Messages’.

After processing your transaction, a link to download the digitally signed e-invoice will be sent through our web-message. However, you can download the e-invoice later using Help menu e-winman ‘Download Invoice’.

Step 7: Any queries / doubts

If you have any queries/doubts, send us the same through online ‘Query manager’ tool provided in the software. Go to Help menu ‘Query manager’ or click on  picture.

  How to download the invoice?

Go to ‘Help’ menu ‘e-winman’   ‘Download Invoice’.

Note:

·         After processing your transaction, a link to download the digitally signed e-invoice will be sent through our web-message within 3 days from the date of receipt of the cheque/DD (or date of credit). Also a copy of the invoice will be sent to your email ID which is registered in our record.

·         Option to download invoice is given only for registered copy of the Software having serial number

  I want Pro-forma invoice / Invoice before making payment?

To generate pro-forma invoice, go to Help menu ‘Buy now’ / ‘Renew now’ click ‘Send Payment Details’ click ‘Pro-forma Invoice’.

  How to send the details of payment made towards the purchase / renewal of the software?

Go to ‘Help’ menu ‘Send Payment Details’. Once the payment details are received, immediately the registration or renewal key will be released.

Note: Not required in case of e-payment. Only if payment is made through Deposit in e-Banking branch or if cheque is directly sent to us, then, payment details have to be sent to Winman using the above tool.

  How to check the transaction status of payment made through software towards purchase / renewal?

Go to 'Help' 'e-winman' 'Login' 'Transaction details'.

The Online payment status are as following:

  How can I make online payment to Winman CA-ERP?    OR    Procedure of online payment.    OR    How to make the payment towards purchase / renewal of the software?

  Go to ‘Help’ menu in the software Buy now’/ ‘Renew now’ fill the details in ‘e-Purchase’ window and click ‘Pay On-line’

  If your Winman online login password is not available in the software database, you will be asked to enter your e-mail ID and Winman online login password.

  Now, you will be connected to ‘Winman’s Online Payment’ page.

  Where do I get Bank Account details of Winman?

Go to ‘Help’ menu ‘Renew now’/‘Buy now’ and

  Click Pay On-line to make online payment.

  Click Pay Off-line to know the bank details & payment steps (for payment through deposit).

 

  I am not able to make online Payment to Winman.    OR    My Debit card / Credit card / Bank name is not found in the list to make online payment.

In below mentioned cases, you will not be able to make online payment using a particular e-payment gateway:

  If you are using an older version of browser

  If your Debit card / Credit card / Bank is not accepted by them

In such cases, click on Winman’s logo given at the top of ‘Winman’s Online Payment’ page select alternative e-payment gateway and proceed.

  After making online payment, the amount has been debited to my bank account. But I have not received the successful message.

Sometimes, though amount is debited from your account, you may not receive the successful message in website. The said situation arises due to break in connection between the three websites. This may happen due to:

  Error in your internet connection

  Error in website of the bank or e-payment gateway

  Closing of webpage before receiving payment successful message

If there is an interruption in communication between the websites, we will get confirmation of payment only after 1-2 days. In such cases, if you try to make another payment, it may result in double payment. As soon as we receive the confirmation message, we will inform the same to you through Winman's message which will be displayed in the software.

If amount is debited to your account but confirmation message is not received, you can send a query using ‘Query manager’. We will check and once the confirmation is received, we will send a reply to you.

Winman’s online payment process is as follows:

Step 1: Amount payable is computed in the software

Step 2: You will be navigated to an e-payment gateway’s website

Step 3: If you opt to make payment through net banking, e-payment gateway will lead you to your Bank’s website

Step 4: The transaction result will be conveyed by respective bank to e-payment gateway and in turn, it will be conveyed to us by e-payment gateway

Step 5: Now, transaction successful / failure message will be shown to you.

Thus, three websites, i.e. Winman website, e-payment gateway website and your Bank's website, will interact with each other. If the chain of events between websites takes place without interruption, the e-payment successful message will be shown.

  I have deposited cash to Winman’s Bank account. How to register or renew the software?

Since you have made cash payment, we are unable to trace your transaction. Therefore, please send the scanned copy of ‘Pay-in-Slip’ through ‘Query manager’ tool under ‘Help’ menu.

  I have sent the cheque through courier. But my software is not yet registered or renewed.

As soon as we receive the cheque, a winman's message will be displayed in the software with details of amount received. Further, the registration or renewal key will be released immediately.

However, if the software is not registered within the expected time (i.e., delivery time required for courier service), please send a query with details of cheque. We will check our records and will reply.

Go to 'Tools' menu Utilities select 'Repair' select option '3. Reinstall Winman (CA-ERP / GST)' (if TDS, '3. Reinstall Winman TDS') and click 'OK'.

Close and open the software and try again.

Winman CA-ERP Server Edition license will be installed on a server computer.

CA-ERP Desktop edition software will be installed on every client computer (Licensed computer).

The software can be accessed by clients over LAN or Terminal Services (like Remote Desktop, Thin Client etc.) by different user at a time based on Licence count given.

Software can be accessed by single user at a time either in the installed PC or in the network PC (Through LAN).

Data Path

In server edition license, you can configure the software to use any local folder or a separate storage server to store the data files. Data saved by all clients will be stored in this common data path. You cannot use separate data path for each client in the server edition.

You can configure the software in all licensed computers to save the data in a common data path or separate data path.

Note: Server licence count can be increased using ‘Add License’ option under ‘Help’ menu. This option is applicable only if customer has Registration key.

  Options to register the software as required for 'Work From Home':

To work from home there are registration options through which the data can be accessed from anywhere. The options are listed below, find suitable option and follow the same for registration.

For Desktop registration:

  If using the same Computer in Office & Home:

The PC in which Winman software is installed and having desktop registration is taken to work from home and if required to set common data-path then, refer topic “Centralized Online (Cloud based) Data-path”

 

  If Personal Computer (i.e. not used in office) is used:

  If office PC/server is accessible:

If office PC/server is accessible from the PC being used in your home (e.g.: VPN, VDI, Remote desktop-terminal services, etc.), then existing desktop licence can be converted to server licence. If license converted from desktop to server license then, multiple users can access software based on licence count. Software working speed depends on the server access speed from home.

 

Convert desktop to server license:

·         If existing data are kept in different PC, then merge those Data to server path. (To know more refer FAQ “How to set common data-path for all the copies of the software?”)

·         Surrender all the desktop licence and send 'Surrender code' to Winman through Query Manager.

 

  If office PC/server is NOT accessible:

If personal laptop/desktop is used to Work from Home, then surrender the licence in existing PC and re-register the software in the PC in which you want to work using the surrender code. (To know more refer FAQ: - search “How to surrender the license before formatting / shifting the software?”)

 

For Server registration:

  Accessing Office PC/server from home: If office PC/server is accessible from home though VPN, VDI, Remote desktop (terminal services) etc., then you can work from Home in office PC itself. Software working speed depends on the server access (Internet) speed from home.

 

  If Personal Computer (i.e. not used in office) is used: If personal laptop/desktop is used to work from home, then convert Server Licence to Desktop, surrender all the licence in existing Server PC and send ‘Surrender code’ through Query Manager. Centralized Online (Cloud based) Data-path:

You can store all your files including CA-ERP/TDS/GST files in a secure online server and access it from any computer anywhere in the world through Internet. In simple words, cloud storage. (To know more refer FAQ: - search “How to save Winman Data in Cloud?”)

Note:

·         In all cloud based application, there are chances in duplication of files, as more than one person can edit data simultaneously. This is a drawback of cloud based applications and is not related to Winman.

·         Winman Data can be kept in cloud, but Software cannot be installed on cloud as it is desktop application designed to run on Windows OS.

 

 

 

 

Updation

 


  How to update the software?

Auto-update: If you are connected to internet, the software will automatically check and download the update from the Winman website once in every hour. A message will be shown after the download process is complete. Go to ‘Help’ menu ‘Install Update’.

Emergency Update: Update will be downloaded automatically in case of Emergency update. However, the PC should have internet connection.

In this case, if software is closed, a message will be given to install the update while opening the software again. Unless the update is installed, software cannot be opened.

Update in PC not having Internet:

Step 1: Download the updates using the website links given below.

Step 2: Copy the downloaded file to the PC where software is to be updated (or PC having no access to internet) and double click to install the file.

However, if the PCs are connected through LAN, you can select one copy of the software where internet connection is available to download the updates and copy the update file to the PC which has no internet connection.

  How to update the software immediately?

To download/install the update yourself, go to the ‘Help’ menu ‘Download update’. However, the PC should have internet connection.

  I have received an update pop-up message. What should I do?

The software is constantly updated by us. It is done either to incorporate necessary changes in law or to make improvements in the Software or to provide value added features.

If you are connected to internet, the software will be monitoring our website for latest updates every hour. If update is available, the same will be notified by showing the message. Click on the ‘Update’ button in the message to download and install the update.

To check for the updates instantly, go to ‘Help’ ‘Download update’.

  How to check whether my software copy is up-to-date or not?

Software will automatically check the updation status on opening the software first time in a day. Thereafter, a picture indicating the updation status will be shown in the top-right portion of the ‘Home’ page as shown below;

- If software is up-to-date/Download of update is in progress

-If software is not up-to-date/Update downloaded but not installed/ Download incomplete/No Internet connection (click on the picture to update the software).

If software is not up-to-date, then software will start downloading the updates automatically. On completion of the download, a message will appear.

Alternatively, at the time of opening the software next time, if downloaded updates are available, installation will take place.

If you want to check for updates which are published today, you have to click the picture representing the updation status or go to 'Help' menu 'Download update'.

The updation process is independent in each PC.
